Pumpkin Pie Cake


Pumpkin Pie Cake

1 large can (1 pd 13 Oz) pumpkin
1 can evaporated milk
3 eggs
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
2 stick unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups sugar

Blend and mix well; pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs nutmeg, ginger, cloves, salt, cinnamon and sugar.

Pour into greased 8 by 13 pan and sprinkle with dry cake mix.  Gently pat down mix with spoon.  Sprinkle on walnuts.
Melt butter and drizzle over all
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.  Cool and cut in squares.

Notes: Do not use margarine.  Turns out to salty.  Do not use pudding type cake mixes.
