Heavenly Hot Fudge Sauce

Heavenly Hot Fudge Sauce

1/2 cup butter
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
3 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can evaporated milk

Melt butter in double boiler.  drop in chocolate and melt.  Add sugar gradually.  Sprinkle salt.  Slowly stir in milk.  Serve warm over ice cream.
