Cream Cheese Brownies

Cream Cheese Brownies

1 package german chocolate (4 ounces)
5 tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
3 ounces cream cheese
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Melt chocolate with 3 tablespoons butter over low heat.  Cool
Cream remaining butter with cream cheese.  gradually add 1/4 cup sugar.  Blend in 1 egg, 1 tablespoon flour, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.  Se aside.

Beat 2 eggs until thick and light in color.  Add 3/4 cup sugar.  Add baking powder, salt and 1/2 cup flour.  Blend in chocolate mixture and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Spread half into greased 9 inch pan.  Spread cream cheese mixture over top and then remaining chocolate.
Bake 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
