Deluxe Marshmallow Bars

Deluxe Marshmallow Bars

3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cups nuts, chopped
4 cups marshmallows

Topping:
1 1/3 cups chocolate chips
3 tablespoons butter
1 cups peanut butter
2 cups rice krispies

Cream butter and sugar.  Add eggs and vanilla.  Beat until fluffy.  Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa; add to creamed mixture.  Stir in nuts.  Spread in a greased jelly roll pan.  Bake at 350 degrees 15-18 minutes.  Sprinkle marshmallows over cake.  Cook 2-3 minutes.  Spread marshmallows with buttered knife, over cake.  Cool.

Topping:
Combine chocolate chips, butter, peanut butter in a small sauce pan.  Cook over low heat until melted.  Remove from heat.  Stir in cereal.  Spread over bars.  Chill.
