Applesauce Cookies
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups applesauce
1 cup shortening
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
4 cups flour
1/2 bag chocolate chips
Cream sugar, eggs and shortening. Mix soda into applesauce and stir into creamed mixture. Add spices. Stir in flour. Add chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoons onto cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
