Crunchy Ice Cream Topping

Crunchy Ice Cream Topping


1 stick melted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
1 1/4 cups chopped pecans

Mix all thoroughly and spread on lightly-greased jelly roll baking sheet.  Bake at 450 degrees for 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Watch carefully, as it will burn quickly.  Cool and crumble into small pieces; store in airtight container.  Freezes well.
