Enchilada Sauce by Makinze Gore

Ingredients
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 Tablespoons all purpose flour
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Directions
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat oil.  Add flour and chili powder and stir until fragrant, 1 minute.  Slowly whisk in tomato sauce, then add broth.  Season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar.  Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer until thickened, 10 minutes. Use as desire.
